My name is Mrs. Rosas (many of my students call me Mrs. R.) and I would like you to know how very excited I am a part of St. Paul of the Cross educational team. I am an alumnus of the private school system and within that time I learned that teaching was my calling. I studied at Concordia University of Irvine receiving a BA and credential in Education, Art as well as received a minor in Mathematics. My educational background in two subject areas has allowed me to work with kindergarten to 12th grade students in several subject areas.
Over the past 7 years I have taught in a variety of educational settings from private tutoring to high school and middle school. Most Recently I have worked in elementary for the Irvine Unified School District. I was even blessed to teach this past summer at Don Bosco Tech, Algebra 1. My main focus was the instruction of students from kindergarten through 3rd grade. Through private tutoring is where I met students from St. Paul of the Cross and through those students I began to learn about the goals St. Paul of the Cross has for their students both academically and spiritually. Providing students with a safe learning environment where academic success grows along the side of spiritual identity is encouraged and supported and something I am very blessed to be a part of as an educator.
Go Spartans!!!
